Kissin’ Hell~Releasing October 15!
A brand spankin’ new That Old Black Magic spin-off series is on it’s way!
There are two certainties in life soul collector and hellhound Jericho Stryker knows too well—Death never takes a holiday, and women are typically more trouble than they’re worth. That goes double for his personal nemesis and regular pain in his backside, Lola McKenna. Sure, the luscious little hellcat gets his blood boiling in more ways than one, but some scratches are best left un-itched. That determination is strained to the max when a botched soul acquisition job lands him on the same case as Lola.
Fetching a stubborn soul from a haunted bordello should be a piece of cake. Unfortunately for Lola, she has to deal with Jericho horning in on her bounty.
Attempting to keep her cool and her wits around her sinfully sexy adversary? Easier said than done. Especially when she finds herself locked overnight with Jericho. Not strangling him before sunrise? A faint possibility. Ignoring the lusty, depraved sexual fantasies he awakens in her? A snowball’s chance in hell of happening. But worst of all is the very real possibility that he could steal the one thing she most fears losing to him—her heart.

Hey y’all! It’s been a long time since I’ve participated in a blog hop, but this one…yeah. I mean, c’mon now, the Grand Prize is a Kitchen-Aid Stand Mixer!
Do you have one? Have you ever used one? I’m on my 3rd one. The reason being is that I’ve upgraded each time and given my previous ones to up and coming bakers. I bought my first one close to 15 years ago when I took cake decorating classes. I fell in love the first time I used it and I can’t seem to live without one now. Between that and my coffee makers… I’d be hard pressed to choose. Seriously. Might have to pry both out of my cold, dead arms.
But, since that hopefully is not something I’ll have to worry about, we’ll stick with how much I love mine and how lucky someone is going to be to win the one being offered as the Grand Prize of the Mix Up Some Romance Blog Hop. (The mixer is only available to be shipped to a winner in the USA. If by chance the winner is International, the Grand Prize would be a $100 Amazon gift card).
And since it’s a mixer, I thought I’d share a recipe or two that I’ve made in mine. I have made everything from sausage balls and meatloaf mix to breads and cinnamon rolls to cakes and cookies to frostings.
Given the time of year and some of us have started planning our holiday baking (I know, that word holiday is evil still… I’ll only say it those two times I promise), the recipe I’ll share with you is one that is featured in the back of my book, Stick Shift. The hero in it was taught by his mother to make cookies and his favorite which happen to also be the heroine’s favorite are Molasses Cookies…
Cam’s Molasses Cookies
1-1/2 cups unsalted butter, softened
2 cups sugar
2 large eggs
1/2 cup molasses
4-1/2 cups all-purpose flour
4 teaspoons ground ginger
2 teaspoons baking soda
1-1/2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
1 teaspoon ground cloves
1/4 teaspoon salt
3/4 cup coarse decorating sugar
Preheat oven to 350°.
In a large bowl, cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in eggs and molasses.
Combine the flour, ginger, baking soda, cinnamon, cloves and salt; gradually add to creamed mixture and mix well. Shape into 2-inch balls (ice cream/cookie scoops work well here) and roll in coarse sugar. Place 2-1/2-inches apart on ungreased baking sheets (I usually use parchment paper or non-stick aluminum foil). Bake 13-15 minutes or until tops are cracked. Remove to wire racks to cool.
Yield: 2 dozen.
These are delicious cookies and they’re soft and chewy. And with a cup of coffee, they’re just YUM!
Now, I’ve told you about the grand prize for the hop, so you’ll need to enter the Rafflecopter for that, For my blog prize, I’ll be giving a $25 gift card to the e-tailer of your choice along with one digital copy of any of my available books. To find those, please click HERE. To be entered to win, you must answer the following question… What is the best food you’ve ever tasted?

Falling in love at two hundred miles an hour…
Cam Carter is young, hot, and cocky as hell. He’s loved by some, respected by few, and hated by more. He’ll do anything to win the next race, the championship, or the heart of the girl.
Lily is unlike any other challenge Cam has faced. Quiet, full-figured, and several years older, she’s trying everything she can to resist the pull of this bad boy of racing.
Can they find a way to cross the finish line and take the checkered flag together? Or will obstacles, both inside and out, push against them until they crash and burn?
