She has some of the most incredible words and insights that get right into the heart of things, right into the heart of me. She has studied and published and talked about ownership of our pain, vulnerability, courage, love, and parenting…
I saw this on her Twitter account and given what is going on in Charlotte, North Carolina, these words from Brene Brown touched me…
Hug your loved ones. Hug your neighbors.
Show love. Not hate. Show understanding. Not anger. Show compassion. Not harm.
It’s that time again!
I want 10K this weekend.
With the upcoming re-releases of my Ellora’s Cave titles, I have new books I want to get finished.
So, it’s all about new words from today (Thursday) through Sunday.
If you have words you want to get down this weekend, now’s your chance to join me.

And get writing!
I can’t give a lot of details, mainly because I don’t have any really, but I wanted to let all of you know that I received an email today from Ellora’s Cave regarding the rights of the 7 books I have with them. Effective October 7th, 2016, all the rights to those 7 titles will revert back to me. This means several things…
I will no longer be an Ellora’s Cave author.
I will be able to revise, re-cover, and republish these titles on my own with more reasonable prices.
I will once again be able to ask: Do You Know Vinter? 😉
I have waited a long time for these books to come back to me and we’re so close, y’all. So. Close.
I will keep you updated with the progress and the re-release schedule.
The titles I am getting back are as follows:
Trouble In The Making
Slide Down On Me
The Demon is an Angel
The kids are back in school and it’s time to get back down to the business of writing!
I’m done with client edits for a few weeks and have a great number of words to write.
It’s also the opening weekend of college football and there are a ton of games I will be watching from tonight thru Monday night. I will need to be very efficient with my time, which will mean a timer will be placed on my words so that I get the max out my effort.
As always, anyone is welcome to join in! Just sign up with the Linky below. Comment with your starting word count today and come back to comment with you ending word count on Monday evening (because it’s a holiday weekend in the US, we’ll take our 10K Weekend into Monday).
Let’s have some fun! And don’t forget it’s #10KWeekendsForWriters on social media.
