Well, here we are, y’all! Another fun, yet naughty blog hop. BDSM. Near and dear to my heart. I’ve been a student of the BDSM lifestyle for more than 10 years now and it’s as fascinating to me now as it was when I first began the journey.
For my part of the hop, I will be giving away two ebooks (via All Romance eBooks) and one print book (via Book Depository) of authors are have written BDSM books that have touched me in ways I sometimes still can’t even describe. And my giveaway is international.
Eden Bradley’s The Darker Side of Pleasure.
Prepare to enter a provocative, scintillating world where three women are about to take ecstasy to the limit–and beyond. In “The””Bonds of Love” a struggling couple will do anything to save their marriage, even if it means experimenting with a little bondage. But once their research moves beyond the bedroom, how will they know if they’ve gone too far?… In “The Lair” a woman answers an ad for a female submissive, ready to surrender to her body’s deepest yearnings. Finding love is the last thing she anticipates… And in “Love and Discipline” a journalist expects her interview with a sensual extremist to be business as usual. Instead she finds herself submitting to the dominant desires of a handsome stranger–and discovering more about herself than she ever dreamed possible. Sensual and mysterious, this captivating collection is sure to seduce you, page after tantalizing page….
Annabel Joseph’s Comfort Object.
Nell, an out-of-work professional submissive, is desperate to find a job when she meets handsome film star Jeremy Gray at the restaurant where she works. He says he needs a personal assistant, but the work contract he shows her details not organizational duties, but sexual ones. Jobless and homeless, Nell agrees to work for him anyway, on the promise that he will pay for her to finish her college degree when her stint as his “assistant” is complete.
The start of their formal Dom/sub relationship is rocky, but they soon fall into a mutually satisfying, highly sexual routine. They play vanilla boyfriend and girlfriend in public, while Jeremy uses Nell as his kinky comfort object behind the scenes. Then a stalker threatens their secret lifestyle, and their contract may not be strong enough to hold them together.
Sierra Cartwright’s Hawkeye One: Danger Zone.
Who’s watching you…?
The highly specialized Hawkeye team protects the world’s most valuable things, secrets, even people. But now one of their own needs protecting. There’s a cool million dollar bounty on Dom Wolf Stone’s head. Trouble is, Stone’s a loner and doesn’t want the help.
That doesn’t stop his submissive and former lover, Nate Davidson, or another determined agent, Kayla Fagan, from showing up at his Colorado ranch, uninvited. The spark, the anger, the hurt is still there between Wolf and Nate, and their first kiss reignites the flames that time and distance have not diminished. With Nate’s help, Wolf uncovers Kayla’s unexplored submissive tendencies. Under the Dom’s unyielding instruction, Kayla explores her sexuality in ways that make her dizzy.
For Wolf, there’s nothing better than having two very different, very willing, very pleasing subs at his command. But Kayla and Nate both want more. In addition to his love, they want him to give up control long enough to share his life completely. And that’s the one thing Wolf is incapable of giving.
Of course, there’s more going on with the hop than just my giveaway… Below you’ll find the form for the overall hop giveaway and the links to all the blogs participating.
In order to win the three books I’ve listed above, please answer one of the two following questions in the comments section of my blog:
1. Why do you read/enjoy BDSM books?
2. If you could try any act you’ve read about in a book (which I don’t recommend unless you’ve thoroughly researched it in non-fiction ways like talking to those in the lifestyle and reading up on it from a real practitioner’s viewpoint) but if you could try any act you’ve read about in a book, which would it be? Bondage? Spanking? Flogging? Blindfolds? Plugs? Being forbidden to speak or make eye contact? Cages?
Also, if you’d like, because I’d like you to but it’s not a requirement for the hop, to follow me or my blog, over on the sidebar are delightful little coffee cups with the various way and places to do so. There’s also my newsletter, email sign-up, Networked Blogs, and Pinterest (I have several pin boards dealing with my books and other passions, including coffee and food).
So, any questions? The hop runs until the 20th of August.
I think I like reading BDSM because it is naughty, taboo, forbidden and that’s exciting. Not that itis taboo or forbidden, but in my vanilla world it comes pretty close.

I love the books you chose. Annabel Joseph is one of my absolute favorite authors and Comfort Object is one of my favorite books of hers.
I love reading BDSM because I’ve always had bondage and domination fantasies.

I like reading them because of the naughty escapism, I read a huge range of fiction and this is just part of it. If I were to try anything it would probably be bondage or spanking. *blushes*
I wish I were going to AAD this year, I would come and say HI! and give you a hug *virtual hug* I even bought a cowboy hat.
I like reading them because they get me all steamy and mushy inside. They are so damn hot!
I would like to try bondage.

Thanks so much for the awesome giveaway and for participating in this rockin’ hop!
I think I read BDSM because I am a bedroom only, part time when I can get my husband to play along, submissive. I read about the things I would like to do but never will. We use some bondage , blindfolds and a few toys but my hubby just can’t bring himself to do anything that will “hurt” so I use the books to get my vicarious spanking fix :O) Carin

I read BDSM because of the trust relationship between the characters involved. And of course for the steamy action! I read Hawkeye One: Danger Zone and loved it so I immediately got Hawkeye two. Thanks for the chance to win!

I like reading BDSM because quite frankly I enjoy how it makes me feel. I like all aspects of BDSM. I have tried bondage and loved it. I haven’t read any of those books but they sound delicious. Thank you for the giveaway.

I agree with what Steph said about why she read its. “I like reading BDSM because it is naughty, taboo, forbidden and that’s exciting. Not that itis taboo or forbidden, but in my vanilla world it comes pretty close.” Don’t think I could explain it any better.
I like reading it because it a hot read. Thanks for the chance to win!

1. Why do you read/enjoy BDSM books?
I love reading about the deviant creative pervert delights. It’s lovely to read good D/s and BD. SM done well is heavenly.
Cages?
Bondage is fun but I found suspension in shibari to be too painful on my pinched nerve.
Spankings are always delightful although the IKEA metal spatula stings!
Flogging with thuddy floggers are my FAVOURITE.
Blindfolds are nice.
Love the anal plugs.
Never tried forbidden to speak or no eye contact.
I would like to try a cage for an hour or so. What I’d really like is to try fire flogging. I’d also like the fire knife. I’m currently in the middle of creating a fire knife to try in my fireplay.
I read BDSM because I want something different than vanilla sex! The more I read BDSM, the more I learn and the more I try little stuff with hubby to add excitement in the bedroom. When we read together these books…watch out! LOL!

I love reading BDSM because it’s hot and it gives me so many new ideas. I’ve done the bondage, spanking and blindfolds, I think it’s time to move ahead and try the flogging.

I think if I could try any one act it would be to be placed in the role of a sub for a night. To be able to trust someone enough to give up complete control is just scary and incredible sounding.
I just started reading this genre and I must say it got me all hot and bothered when I read it so I guess that why I like reading it. I would probably try being tied up. Thanks for participating in the hop. Lyric_james(at)sbcglobal.net
Love the power exchange and the level of intimacy and trust that is required. Great fodder for my fantasy life.
1. Why do you read/enjoy BDSM books?
the naughtiness factor I think…plus I just love a good dominating man.
I do follow you on FB =)
thanks for the new ideas on books…I am so looking those three up.

I love the power one person has over the other, and the trust it takes to have that kind of relationship.

I enjoy reading BDSM books to see how the trust factor is between the partners. Also some are really hot reading. I probably would go for flogging, preferably with a trained DOM.

I love reading BDSM, it´s something i´d like to try but don´t think i´d find the courage (or partner) to do it with. Reading about it fills a need i have so i can go on in my own life, a bit happier (and naughtier =D) without demanding that my hubby should buy a whip or chains
Love the giveaway!

I love reading BDSM because it fuels my fantasy fires. 🙂

I love reading about the relationship that forms between the Dom and Sub. The trust that they need from each other is amazing
mythic021@gmail.com
I read it because it excites me like no other thing I’ve read, plus it reminds me of someone 😉
BDSM is an interesting way to really get to know the characters. I love the psychology of why they are attracted to the lifestyle.

Very interesting ??? you’ve asked of us.
I love reading BDSM because they are very hot, steamy, get your heart pumping reads. I enjoy the excitement, anticipation I get while reading them; not to mention the new ideas. If I could choose any aspect of BDSM to try, it would be bondage, blindfold & possibly the flogger.

I’ve read Eden Bradley’s The Darker Side of Pleasure, and really enjoyed it. I really like doing blog hops because I get to find new authors and lots and lots of books to add to my list. Thanks for participating in the hop.
On the rafflecopter, do your own task, isn’t that supposed to be able to be done every day???? I’ve been to 3 stops and it still doesn’t let me put in links where I left comments.

I read and enjoy BDSM books because they are so totally different from the rather vanilla reads I usually enjoy. They get me all hot and bothered and I like to imagine myself as the sub heroine in the book.
I’ve tried some light bondage, spanking, flogging, blindfolds in the past, and would enjoy any and all again if I had the opportunity in the future. The feeling of giving up control and the anticipation of what is to come is such a turn on.
Awesome choice of giveaways! If I could try anything, it would probably be bondage, for me it feels like the ultimate trust.
I feel like a stalker, but I am already following you via FB, Twitter and Pinterest 😉

I love BDSM stories because they tend to have so much emotion and the characters have to have so much trust and such great communication.
I am already stalking…..err, following you in so many ways: the blog, FB, twitter, etc

They all sound like fabulous reads. 🙂
If I could try any act that I have read about, it would probably be blindfolded and suspended from the ceiling with Shibari. Loved it! I read it for the emotional connection of the characters and the escape it allows me for at least a little while. I am following you! 😉

I enjoy the trust that is in all successful BDSM encounters. To see someone put their trust in another person like that is a beautiful and sexy thing.
