I haven’t done a hop in a while but thought that the New Year was a good time to join in on one. And it’s a naughty one so, yeah…:-)
And speaking of naughty, many people still talk to me about Vinter and Jaz. Dallon, their middle friend is naughty too, but he doesn’t get as much attention or respect… My writing over the last couple of years has been a little different than what it was back when I wrote Vinter’s book. To be honest, I miss writing naughty like that. Sometimes though, I think what I see as naughty is now more mainstream, that there’s nothing to surprise readers with… That does make me kinda sad, but for 2013, I’m going to work on a few erotic, naughty (what I think are naughty) books and see if I can’t tempt some readers back my way…
Now, what do you get for following the blog hop and commenting? Well, there are several grand prizes:
1. $100 giftcard to Eden Fantasies…
2. An erotic 10 book bundle:
To be eligible for these, you must comment on all tour stops across the hop…
My own personal giveaway is an Amazon or Barnes and Noble giftcard for $25 so you can pick out some of your own naughty books that you’ve been dying to read… For this you simply need comment on my blog here and tell me what would you like to see in an erotic book that you haven’t yet or haven’t seen done often…
The Naughty New Year’s Hop starts today January 2 and goes through January 6. For more information, you can hop over to our coordinator’s blog, SkyeWarren.com/hop
If you’d like to follow my blog, you may do so through Network blogs or through email. Forms and links are to the Right. You may also follow me on various social networks. You’ll find those links in the form of coffee cups to the right as well. ——>
We all hope you’ll have a lot of fun hoping from blog to blog and may 2013 be extra naughty for you…
~lissa
True depth. Of characters, emotions, whatever. Smut is fine, hey, it’s great, but what’s beneath it gives it all intensity.
Happy New Year

I’m still fairly new to the whole BDSM genre & I know that there are loads of stories out there to choose from but I’d like to find a few more with female Dommes. Most of the books on my to read pile feature male Doms & apart from The Siren by Tiffany Reisz (which I loved) I don’t have any females. If anyone has any good recommendations I’d love to hear them because I’m sure there are plenty out there – I just haven’t found them yet LOL

Hmm.. While I love a good menage story– sometimes I think I would like to see her have to choose.
modularmates(at)comcast(dot)net
I would like to see more office romances. I would also like to see more heroine’s in control. I think Joey W. Hill has some female dom books.
Happy New Year! Thanks for a chance to win…
Depth of character and storyline. I find more & more that everyone is naked within the first couple pages. And while the sex is hot, there is no connection with the characters. This takes away quite a bit from the story for me. Thanks for the giveaway!
bimmergrlmd at gmail dot com
I’ll agree also with depth of character. And more emotions.
Thanks for the chance. Happy New Year.

I have to agree with emotional depth of characters. And I love a good tortured hero – it so much more satisfying when they fall! 🙂
It would be fun to see more m/m involving toys!
vitajex(at)aol(dot)com
I also agree with character depth. So many writers pile on the sex but forget to have their characters evolve with the story. I love the whole buildup of seduction before you get to the goodies. More menage is always great, not many with one guy and two women, unless they are lesbian. I think it would be interesting to explore that avenue with two straight women and one man.
Hi! Happy New Years! Id like to see more build up in storylines. Instead of the characters just jumping into bed together, id love for them to have a rocky start, for them to butt heads, argue and then fall for each other. Thanks for the awesome hop and all the giveaways! This is so fun! I love these hops! I always meet new authors, reconnect with old ones and my TBR list grows by leaps and bounds! Thank you!! Have a great day! Best wishes and many blessings to you!

Happy New Year.

I have read so much, I have seen most everything. I love a good post apocalyptic story and those are very hard to come by in erotica.
Happy New Year

Better character relations.
More character development. Happy New Year and thanks for the giveaway!

I’d like to see more apocalyptic erotica. I loved Kit Rocha’s Beyond series.
I would like to see some time travel. Thanks!
I’d like to see an erotica done with an actual plot. I understand sex is important, but 200 pages of straight up sex and a really weak plot isn’t my thing. Thanks for the giveaway!
jillynann(at)gmail(dot)com
I like a really good story and a good emotional connection. Thanks for the giveaway!
thompsonem3 at aol dot com
I’d like to see more (in number, and depth) graphic novel adaptations.
I think I need to read more books before I judge, but I would love to see more stuff with different settings, like not just contemporary cities.
Thanks for the giveaway!!
jessicamariesutton(at)msn(dot)com
I would like to see more depth als

I’d like to see more of well-rounded characters and an interesting plot 🙂
laceyblossom1(at)gmail(dot)com
I want to see more detailed characters and more MMF. 🙂 I love MF and MM and even enjoy MFM but these days if I read a menage it needs to be MMF. 🙂

I read alot of books in 2012. And, to be, honest, I really didn’t find any of them lacking in the naughty category. I read, Sylvia Day’s Crossfire series (can’t wait for book 3), On Dublin Street by Samantha Young, Lora Leigh’s Men of August series, Leah Braemel’s Hauberk Protection series, Kallypso Master’s Masters at Arms series, R.k.Lilley’s Up in the Air series (can’t wait for Grounded), M. Leighton’s Down to You ( need Book 2), Sylvain Reynard’s Gabriel’s Inferno series. These books were very well written & I’m looking forward to finding more in 2013.

I read a lot of books and enjoy the different situations and stories authors write about in the romance genre from chick lit to erotic.
coach4kat(at)gmail(dot)com
The only thing that irks me in a book is underdevelopment/over-development. There has to be a happy medium or it can ruin a book
uilani25 (at) hotmail (dot) com
I’d just like to see less male-dominant and alpha male-centricness… I’m really bored of it. Why can’t the girls take the reigns for a change? 😉
Have a naughty new year!

I’ve read a lot of books and I can’t really think of anything I would like to see more of. I can usually find something to fit what I feel like reading at the moment. Thanks for being part of the hop!
suz2(at)cox(dot)net
I don’t want to be naughtier, but I do want to make my hubby think I am being naughtier
mrsbrinus at comcast dot net
I am new to the genre so I am not sure what I would like to see maybe more emotional connection? I’m a sucker for romance so…
vampiremistress2010(at)gmail(dot)com
More double penetration in m/m/m menages. It’s extremely rare and even if an author does it, it only seems to happen in one book and then never again. Also, playing with chocolate and whipped cream.
tiger-chick-1(at)hotmail(dot)com
I would like to see a bit more relationship development, angst, and balance in books. OH, and no more virgin-turns submissive to handsome Billionaire books. Happy New Year! Thanks for hosting

Happy New Year! I hope to have more fun and less work!

I always like my romances a little antsy not cry through the whole book but some emotional upheaval.
bones_mcp(at)yahoo(dot)com
I’d love to take another one of my favorite genres, dystopian, and mix that in with erotica:) Thanks!
I would like to see where they have more depth and a stronger plot line. A good amount (not all) that I have read so far seemed to have a very weak plot line and it seemed to be more of an afterthought
Thanks for the awesome giveaway!

Happy new year
i’d like to see more Mff menage 🙂
stardf(at)gmail(dot)com
I would really like to see a few more female Dommes in the bdsm genre of books. I like a good female sub book but sometimes I like to see the strong female stay strong and the male to bend some.
Thank you for the giveaway.

role reversal !

I would have to say that i would like to see a woman dom… Not just in passing play but a real one, strong independent who can make a man want to be under her control.

Don’t really know since I’m new to the whole scene. Thanks for the giveaway and Happy New Year!!!!! I can’t wait for all the new books that will be coming out in 2013!
I’d like to see graphic novels for this genre, I don’t think I’ve ever heard of one.
Thank you for the chance!

I’d like to see some more humor. I know that’s very tough to do well, but I do like it when authors manage to be funny and sexy.
dancingcelt at gmail dot com
As soon as I would say I’ve never read this in a book, 5 people would be telling me different titles with it in them. Thank you for the giveaway.

I would like to see more Egyptian myth…They could be shifters or just hot gods!
Thanks for doing the hop!!

Hmmm I am not very creative at thinking of new things (well in the book department haha) and have not read a ton of erotica so I am unsure what has and has not been done a lot. I suppose I would like to see some unconventional things in reads however. Maybe a male that likes Dildos inserted in him but isn’t gay? A woman who enjoys a big strap on? 🙂 Okay I could go on, but think I will stop for now. 🙂 (I think my face is red!)
Happy New Year and much continued success in 2013.

I loved Twisted Up – it’s a keeper 🙂
I’d like to see more stories that involve women who are physically less than perfect – like most of us. Thanks for the great giveaway!

i’d love to see for once, a realistic heroine. not the skinny mini’s . the not so pretty but still cute, and the guys who fall in love with them because of their personality not their looks. idk *shrugs* it would captivate me as a reader more. Thanks for the giveaway 🙂
