Will you be wearing green on St. Patrick’s Day? Will you be drinking green cocktails and green beer?
Will you be or are you already partying in Savannah, Georgia where the famous fountain in Forsythe Square gushes green water and the partying goes all into the very wee hours of the morning?
What about in Chicago where the river is dyed green?
Will you make green eggs and ham? Or green cupcakes with green frosting? I think I will probably make cupcakes…chocolate fudge cupcakes with green frosting. I’ll wear my green glasses and my green t-shirt, and put my hair in a pony tail with a green hair band. I’ll even wear green earrings. But, to be honest with you, that’s the most I’ll do.
I’ve never been a big party person and have chosen to live vicariously through my younger sister who loves to party. She’s been to the Savannah St. Patrick’s Day celebrations. I am, officially, a stick in the mud when it comes to such things. But, I know there are some of you who aren’t as dull and boring as me and well, we’re gonna celebrate that!
If you’ve been to my blog before during a blog hop, you know I LOVE to ask questions. I want your feedback. I want to see who YOU are, even if it’s just a little, tiny slice of you. This blog hop is gonna be no different. So, tell me… Do you celebrate St. Patrick’s Day in party fashion or are you quiet and unassuming like me and simply wear green? Or are you one of the naughty ones who defy convention and NOT wear green so someone will pinch you? C’mon y’all, let’s talk green…
In exchange for your comments, you’ll be put into the Grand Prize drawings…
Grand Prize 1 – Kindle Fire or Nook Tablet (winner’s choice)
Grand Prize 2 – $90 Amazon or Barnes and Noble Gift Card (winner’s choice)
Those are fabulous prizes and I’m so thrilled we were all able to contribute so y’all could have a chance to win such awesome things! All the individual blogs will be giving their own prizes as well and mine is no different. I’ll be choosing a name from among the commenters on my blog here for a chance to win a $20 gift card to Amazon, Barnes and Noble, Starbucks, or Caribou Coffee along with 3 of my backlist titles.
All you have to do is leave answers to my questions above in the comments area. Now, I have a Newsletter, a Twitter account, a Facebook page, email sign up to follow my blog, along with Networked Blogs, and Linky. I would love it if you were interested enough in me and my books to sign up or follow me in some way, shape, or form, however it is not necessary or required to be entered into the drawing for books and the gift card. But, if you did feel so inclined, all the options are on the sidebar over ——-> there.
So, let’s get this show on the road!
Below, you’ll also find the links to all the other blogs on the hop…
Thanks for stopping by, and thanks to Carrie Ann Ryan for organizing this hop!

The most I’ve ever done to celebrate St Pat’s in the past is put cute green hair decorations in my daughter’s hair, or spray and spike my son’s hair so he looks like a little green imp LOL I’m not big on St Pat’s. This year has been a touch different for me, though, because of the free read promotion I’m running with my publisher for Sweet Irish Kiss. All the postings for that has really got me in the green party mood. So it’s PARRRRTY tomorrow!
I have never celebrated St. Patrick’s Day. I’m not a fan of beer and green wine isn’t all that appealing. I would absolutely try out a green margarita anytime, no need to limit it to one day of the year. If I happen to wear green it will be coincidence.
I will wear green so I don’t get pinched. lol I don’t think we have green beer here. If we did, I might try one. I’m not normally a beer person. Maybe a wine cooler the color of green. I would love to visit one of those places someday.
I love all the pictures of the green river. Although it looks beautiful I bet its a bitch to get off your clothes if you accidently take a dip lol.
I hit anyone who pinches me normally because I am always wearing green. I really do love this holiday I wear the color and go out with friends if i can.
Happy St. Pattys Day!

I will be wearing green 🙂 I don’t live near Georgia or Chicago but I live near Boston MA so I will be celebrating at all the Irish bars there (and there are a lot)…Happy St. Patty’s Day!
I eat corn beef every year because i love it but that is a bout it because I’m not Irish ! lol

I’m not a partier, but I do wear green, and now all of a sudden I’m wanting to make green cupcakes o.o
I love how much you like to get to know your readers, even if just a little bit. 🙂
Thanks for the great giveaway!

I am half Irish and can remember when I was little, a gentleman stopping my Mom and asking if I was Irish. I have green eyes, brown hair that looks coppery in the sun and freckles. BTY my last name is Bailey.! Bailey’s Irish cream anyone?Although I don’t drink, I do wear green for the day.
I always wear green, cook up corned beef and cabbage. But don’t do the green beer, can’t stomache it.

I usually just cook a meal (corned beef and cabbage) and wear green. I don’t like beer, so I don’t usually go out.

I am more the unassuming type. I have never been a big “party boy” – I will wear the green, play some Irish tunes on my pennywhistle and maybe look for four leaf clovers. And if I get REAALLLY WIIILD I may drink a Guiness – but just one that is my limit.
I’m a total St. Patrick’s Day party pooper. I ALWAYS forget to wear green and I don’t have any fun traditions. Maybe I need to start some . . .
Anyway, happy St. Patty’s Day and thanks for the giveaway!

A!
I do usually try to find something green to wear. I don’t have much in that color. Otherwise it’s just corned beef and cabbage because I like it.

Beer. That’s my tradition. But NOT Green. Craft.
cheers
Liz
I’m having a lot of fun with this blog hop.
I’m not Irish, but my best friend is, and she taught me to love green. I don’t celebrate in the “partying” way, I’ll probably just wear something greeen (I even have green shamrock socks!) and that’s about it. 🙂
Happy St. Patty’s Day!

I am not a partier and I do not like to be pinched so I do wear the green. I am only a small portion Irish, but I do love to indulge the corned beef and cabbage fix. That river in Chicago just looks radioactive. (-:
Thanks for participating in the hop and for the giveaway opportunity.
sophiarose1816@gmail.com
I’m definitely not a party girl. I stop at wearing green to avoid getting pinched! If I remember…. 🙂

Lissa, I am a quiet partier. I will be in green pjs reading books with something or someone Irish in the…LOl

Very low key here too…we will wear green also. Not sure if I will attempt corned beef and cabbage or not…I prefer to eat it at Cracker Barrel but am half way to my weight goal and that will royally mess it up (30lbs down!)
books4me67 at ymail dot com
I will be wearing green but not eating green. I won’t be going to the parade. I did that in my HS days when I didn’t mind crowds. I will eat some special food–reubens on the panini press. YUM.

We celebrate by going to my mom’s for corned beef and cabbage, and everyone has to wear green!
Thanks for the chance to win and Happy St. Patrick’s Day!

Hi Lissa,
Since my twin boys are st Paddy’s Day babies, we celebrate in style, with decorations through out the house, family parties with corned beef and cabbage, and lemon cupcakes with green frosting. Every year at least one of their presents will be a box of Irish Twin t shirts, Irish coffee, shamrock tattoos, socks and hats.
My Irish laddies are definitely my lucky charms.
I pretty much follow you everywhere but Twitter.

The only green I really own are bras and panties, so I will wear that tomorrow. I don’t like beer so I won’t be drinking green beer but instead might drink something with midori in it. Unfortunately I’m not in Savannah but that sounds like it would be fun! And I’m not in Chicago although one of these years I’d like to go to Chicago for St. Paddy’s Day because it is so iconic.
Thanks for the post and giveaway. Happy St. Patrick’s Day!

I am definitely a dull one. I tend to just wear green, maybe with a few shamrocks. I have to take blood thinners and drinking interferes with them. Oh well, I was never much of a drinker anyway, lol. I would much rather stay home and curl up with a nice, hot romance book!
I already stalk you in many ways, lol.
Happy St. Patty’s Day

The most I do is cook corned beef and cabbage, though the family has opted out this year.
If I have red hair, green eyes and freckles, can’t I get away with not wearing green?! 😉
I like to dress up in green and go to the parade in town. 🙂 I enjoy spending the day with my family and celebrating. Thanks for sharing and for the giveaway! Happy St. Patrick’s Day!

Anyway! We don’t celebrate St. Paddy’s Day in Iceland, but I’m sure a lot of people will get rowdy in the pubs tonight. I’m celebrating in front of my computer, hopping between blogs…in blue clothes, because I don’t have anything green.
Erica ^.^
I love celebrating with my friends. We wear something green and go out to bar and just have fun.

St. Patrick’s Day is a National Holiday at my house. We get ready for the parade at 7 which starts at 10. Then we go to the in laws and eat, eat, eat. Play games with the kiddos and eat some more. Some members exchange gifts. Then it is off to the pub crawl. Fun times for everyone.

Happy St. Paddy’s Day! I won’t be drinking but I will be wearing green and eating corned beef and cabbage. I don’t live in Chicago or Atlanta but would view the green water if I could. Might be able to find some green water outside after the past few hot days, but I do think it’s still a bit early. 😉

Normally I am all about the green but not this year. We had a sewer backup on Wednesday and were still trying to get it fixed on St. Patty’s day so no green for me. We’ll have to do twice as much next year! Thanks for the green pictures. Very cool! jepebATverizonDOTnet
