It’s pretty, ain’t it!?! *squee*
Wild Ever After is hot, short, a bit emotional. It’s a forty-something married couple who’ve been apart for a while and a decision had to be made whether to go forward or…not.
Senator Harry Walker vowed to never subject himself, his children, or his wife to the very public scandals that had plagued his family name since before he was born.
But one night…
One wild night of fantasy and the carefully constructed lines between his public and private lives blurred.
Their names littered the papers. He sent his wife to her hometown of Baltimore and out of the spotlight. And his political career lay in shambles.
That was one year ago. On her birthday.
She wouldn’t come home. She wouldn’t even speak to him and Harry Walker has had enough. It’s time to put their lives back together and his beloved… back on her knees.

I have a new release today. it’s the 4th and final book in my Black & White Series in Eliza Gayle’s Southern Shifters Kindle World.
Writing in someone else’s world, one that they lovingly and painstakingly created was a challenge, one I didn’t think I’d create anything but one story around. But here we are and there are 4.
The characters I created… Bex and Gus, Michael and Maxine, Marcel and Mari, Leah and Blake, even Gus’s parents, Beck, the Mayor, and the newest character, Roan… these are my characters and I will be taking them outside the Southern Shifters Kindle World and into my own world that will at some point intersect with my dormant Denali Heat series that will get new life breathed into it.
Luke Blackwood is not a character I created. He is one of Eliza’s characters and I cannot take him out of the Kindle World. He must stay there. Others will write about him in their own way and it’s possible I’ll return to write a tale about him myself. But it won’t be anytime soon.
This series was a labor of love and learning and frustration and headaches and fear.
I also know that there will be some who will hate the way it ended. Others will understand and look forward to the next series. But I had to stay true to what Bex and Gus were telling me over these last months. And when all was said and done, I did what they, the characters dictated to me.
I have always been a character driven author and am proud to remain so. I have nothing but love for this book and this series.
I appreciate each and every reader who read it from start to finish and who loved it more with each book and always, always asked for more. Thank you. So very much.
Tracking Luke Blackwood, wolf shifter and all around pain in the ass, hadn’t been the toughest part of Gus’s current situation. No… Lying to his mate had been.
While Bex was home overseeing the renovations on her house, Gus and Luke were working to gather information on their enemies. But in their absence, danger has closed in on Bex and the ragtag band of werewolves and werebears left behind to watch out for her.
When the threat causes her to lose everything she owns, lines in the sand blur and choices have to be made. The safety of not only their immediate friends and family, but that of all the shifters in and around the Dragon and Deal’s Gap depends on it.
Author’s Note: This fast paced story is the final installment of my Black & White series within Eliza Gayle’s Southern Shifters Kindle World.
Author’s Additional Note: This cannot be read as a standalone. If you try, you will be very confused. Please start with book one, Ink To Bear.
Welcome to this year’s Snarkology Halloween Hop! We have a ton of authors and bloggers this year and I’m so thrilled Melissa Snark put together such a fantastic and fun party for us all! I participated last year and it was a great time.
I’m going to admit, I’m not a big Halloween fan. I don’t write Halloween stories. I don’t decorate, save for a sign that says Boo. I don’t even buy the candy. I’m a scrooge on Halloween. But what I do like? What I do love? The lights. There are usually candy corn lights and purple and green and orange lights and I LOVE them! Also, candles. Ones that smell like candy corn. Or pumpkin scented everything. I love the scent. I won’t eat or drink it, but I could smell it all day and be so very happy. Purple twinkle lights and warm, pumpkin scented candles get me every time.
And being that Halloween is right in the middle of Fall, my absolute favorite time of year, I love writing books that are set in this season. It’s when I’m at my most happy, my most energetic, my most creative.
Two of my books that fall during this time period are paranormal. One is a werebear shifter, called Ink To Bear and it’s part of Amazon’s Kindle Worlds imprint. (Click on the covers to be taken to the book page for more information, buy links, and an excerpt)
Big, and built, Gus is one werebear most other shifters, and hybrids steer clear of; unless he’s got the ink out. Then, they line up for the chance to see him work and maybe, just maybe, get a little ink of their own. He’s made a name for himself as a traveling tattoo artist, but he’s a loner and his only rule is to never stay any place long enough to learn names.
But then, he sees her…
Bex is alone now. No family since her mother passed. Few people she would call friend. And she’s just sold the last remaining link to her childhood. None of it seems real and yet, it’s all too much reality for her. She wants to start her new life and she wants out of her small hometown.
Her way out comes in the form of a broad shouldered, tattooed biker, offering take her anywhere she wants to go, even if it means going over the infamous Tail of the Dragon mountain pass and through territory that isn’t always friendly to his kind.
She’s never been on a motorcycle. She’s never been this close to a shifter. She’s never done anything reckless. Can she trust him to keep her safe? More importantly, can she trust herself and her feelings when she climbs on and wraps herself around him?
And the second? A vampire paranormal M/M romance, I simply fell in love with while I was writing.
Is the prospect of love worth dying for?
Vampires exist, and travel through space and time. Immortal, beautiful creatures. Neither dead, nor living.
Dane has no memory of being human. He only remembers waking after being unwillingly turned. He is left with a parchment with one single line written upon it: his human birthday. For this one day a year, he can live and die as a human. He is ready. It is time. 126 years after becoming a vampire, he is ready to let go.
When he meets Jorge, with his dark good looks and brilliant blue eyes, Dane reconsiders his choice. Can he take back the life that was stolen from him by dying? Or can he make a life with a soulmate he never imagined having?
I’ll be giving away a $10 Amazon.com gift card if you’ll let me know what it is that you love most about your favorite season, whatever it is AND what Halloween candy you’re guilty of sneaking from the candy bowl or your kid’s bucket of treats. Leave your answers below in the comments!

“a little different from other shifter books…” Oh My God, y’all… I LOVE that! One of the reviews says it. And yes, it IS a little different.
Bryson City, North Carolina. It was her home. It was her childhood. Now it’s the key to a horrible reality.
Poachers. Unscrupulous hunters who take the lives of full blood animals and shifters alike. Sport for most. Revenge for one.
Confronted by a man she believed to be dead, Bex, along with her newfound family, and Gus by her side, face down a stunning realization that nothing is as it seems and where dots connect past to present.
Bears and wolves must find a common thread that weaves together an unconventional alliance. They’re all targets. They’re all in danger.
And when hearts are involved, it always gets messy.
There will be other books coming, but I have no idea when. More bears, definitely. Wolves now, too. First though, I owe y’all The Billionaire’s Heiress and that’s what I plan to deliver on.
I hope you’ll enjoy the trip back into the Southern Shifters Kindle World…
It’s finally coming…
