1. Tell everyone three random things about yourself:
-My home office is full of bright colors…pinks, purples, greens, blues, yellows and I keep a pink tinsel tree up all year.
-I love hats.
-I have a flute playing angel collection on my fireplace mantle.

4. Do you have any specific snacks, drinks, or books planned?
Coffee, popcorn, apples and caramel, lasagna soup, and Virgil’s Microbrew Root Beer.
5. What hours do you plan on reading during?

So, what do y’all think of the new look of the website? There are still a few tweaks to tend to and some changes to make, but we’re well on our way. Kendra from Creations by Kendra did the design for me. She’s a very dear friend and I couldn’t be more thrilled by the end result. I would highly recommend her if you need any graphics, book covers, websites, etc… She’s got amazing talent and skill.
I am participating in a Mini-Read-A-Thon today. 12 hours of reading. My Nook is charging and my Kindle is already loaded up. I have a lot of books to choose from for reading and Tuesday I’ll let y’all know which ones I read.
I need to get started. I need some coffee! Speaking of coffee, don’t y’all love the little coffee cup social media buttons?
Have a great Sunday! Oh, and at the bottom of each page, is an RSS button. If you haven’t subscribed to the feed but wish to, it’s there in the left hand corner. I am still planning a newsletter before the end of the month so be looking for that. And if you haven’t signed up, what are you waiting for?
I love to read but I haven’t been reading lately. I’m so focused on my writing that one slip up right now and my rising word count will crumble. I know this because it’s happened many times before. Readers are waiting for new books.
However, even though I’m not reading, I have been stockpiling my Nook and Kindle with books for future days where I will wake up, grab a blanket, curl up in the recliner with a cup of coffee, and do nothing all day but read.
I don’t buy books all the time. I don’t often by en masse either. There are weeks where I will and there are even more weeks where I won’t by any at all. And by ‘even more weeks’ I mean, months.
Here are the books I bought:
Belong to Me by Shayla Black (in print cause well, I love her books… she’s one of the rare authors I’ll still buy print for)
Wicked to Love by Shayla Black
The Blue Devil by Melynda Beth Andrews
Refired (Desires and Dreams) by A. ‘Jeeper’ Wade
The Dom Who Loved Me by Lexi Blake
A Little Harmless Pleasure by Melissa Schroeder
Best Man Worst Man by Stacy Gail
Bound by Honor by SE Jakes
Pricks and Pragmatism by J. L. Merrow
And I pre-ordered Five Ways Til Sunday, the 1st in Delilah Devlin’s new Delta Heat series
So, I’ve got some historical, some m/m, some spanking, some m/f…I can’t wait to dive into some of these! Well, all of these, but you know what I mean. There are Amazon links to those books on my Kindle and Barnes and Noble links to those on my Nook.
What books have you bought in recent weeks?
So, I’m a little late. What else is new? My day yesterday got all messed up once I found out my son’s rec league play-off game was changed to last night from tonight. It totally screwed up the flow of things on my end and by the time we got home last night, I was so frustrated and tired and bummed that they lost the game, I simply went to bed.
This morning, I worked on the blurb, went through another round of formatting and last minute checking of things with Unmasked. It’s been uploaded to Smashwords, Amazon, and Barnes and Noble. We are now in the waiting stages for it to be live and available for purchase. I have set up accounts with All Romance eBooks and Bookstrand to be able to publish there as well. I am waiting to hear back on account approval.
As I said yesterday, I will let you know as soon as it is ready for your Nooks and Kindles and iPads and Androids and PC’s.
I will be in the writing corner this weekend working on the third book, Revealed. It will be published November 10-11. During NaNoWriMo I will be finishing up Trouble in the Making (the cover is in the works) and the next race car book as I know many of you are anxious for it!
For now, though, it’s wait unfortunately…
With his mask secured in place, Bobby enters Abyss with a single purpose, a single desire. Thor. It’s been a busy week and he’s so anxious to see the dominant again, he doesn’t even take the time to head home and change into more appropriate fetish club attire. He hasn’t been able to shake the lust and memories of how it felt to be under Thor’s hands, to surrender to his need for a man, for Thor, and it drives Bobby to the one thing, the one place he knows he can find fulfillment.
Thor doesn’t flog men, at least not in public, but the undeniable attraction and need he feels the moment he spots Bobby, dressed more for a business meeting than a night out with lifestylers, compels him to make an exception that will change everything he’s known and everything everyone has thought about him.
Nervous and stripped of his shirt, Bobby is strapped to a St. Andrews Cross, surrendering to the pleasure that is Thor with a flogger. Thor’s whispered words of need and encouragement strengthen Bobby’s resolve that tonight is the night he must remove the mask and reveal his identity, that tonight he must reveal his longing for more than one night, once a week club meetings.
Will Thor still want him? There’s only one way to find out…
Masked, my first self-published title is now available on Kindle!
