I’m trying to get life back to some semblance of normalcy. Our cat is still terminally ill and it was important to me to be able to help my children as well as my husband and myself cope with it, get to that place of acceptance. It’s been expensive simply to find out what’s wrong. Now that we know a little better what we’re dealing with, we’re able to put it in perspective, know the signs, and can move forward.
With that in mind, I’ve been writing more, doing some revisions, getting my work back moving forward as well… So, let’s let my sarcastic side take over for a bit and see where we end up…

I listen to a lot of different music when I’m writing. I listen to a lot of different music depending on my mood. It will either lift, or enhance it depending on what exactly I need at the time.
Today’s song is well… We aren’t supposed to talk about things that bother us, people who bother us (nor are we really supposed to tell people they bother us or hurt us for fear of hurting them), money, readers, our kids, husbands, work, politics, religion, etc… And when it comes to family, I’m sure we can all relate to the ‘things we’re not supposed to speak of’. You know, the family secrets because it’ll upset the delicate balance and ruin the facade. Really? What will the neighbors think? 😉
This song, is about exactly, that… But it applies to a lot of areas of life and it’s a hoot. Snarky to be sure, but as the lyrics say, don’tcha know the truth hurts…
