GLBT Madness Hop
It’s been a little while since I’ve participated in a hop and this one is right up my alley at the moment. I have 3 M/M books coming out over the next 3 months and I am proud of them. I met some amazing LGBT authors at Authors After Dark in New Orleans this year and to be counted among them, however small my place, I am nothing short of honored.
For this hop, I am going to be giving away the first book in a series by Tibby Armstrong titled, No Apologies. I read this book, the second, and the third, each in one sitting, each with tears in my eyes at some point. I loved this series and love the emotion Tibby fills all her characters with. There’s depth and pain and love and sacrifice. She’s a wonderful storyteller…
Cheerful and friendly, Aaron Blake has never met a puzzle that intrigues him more than brooding Greg Falkner. He wants to get to know his roommate, but it seems the only way past his shell is through it. When a reluctant friendship turns into a budding romance, can the two keep their feelings secret from their classmates? Or will their newfound love destroy them both?
Or so goes the story screenwriter Greg Falkner spins for audiences and his longtime partner, Aaron Blake, in No Apologies. Loosely based on their lives together, the film rocks Hollywood with its blatant portrayal of two teenagers falling in love and coming of age in a world that struggles to accept them, while they in turn struggle to accept themselves.
At the end of the evening, will Greg’s risky venture break a relationship that’s already foundering? Or will the real-life Greg and Aaron also find their happily ever after with No Apologies?
And, I’m going to be giving away the first in a series by J.L. Langely titled, My Fair Captain. It’s a Sci-Fi Regency. Two things about this book… One, it was the first M/M I had ever read and after it, I was completely hooked on the genre. Two, it was the first Sci-Fi I had ever read and sadly, other than this series, I am not hooked on that genre. But adding the Regency element into it was so different for me and I was in love with historicals anyway… This was completely new and fun and I fell in love with these characters. I read this book at least once every couple of months. It’s a definite go to for me. It’s full of passion and protocol and falling in love and a hero brought to his knees by the most unlikely man. It was such a fun book.
Talk about a compromising situation!
A storm of political intrigue, murderous mayhem and sexual hungers is brewing on planet Regelence.
Swarthy Intergalactic Navy Captain Nathaniel Hawkins ran from a past he had no intention of ever reliving. But when his Admiral asks him to use his peerage, as an earl and the heir to a dukedom, to investigate a missing weapons stash, he’s forced to do just that. As if being undercover on a Regency planet where the young men are supposed to remain pure until marriage isn’t bad enough, Nate finds himself attracted to the king’s unmarried son.
All Prince Aiden Townsend has ever wanted was to be an artist. He has no interest in a marriage of political fortune or becoming a societal paragon. Until he lands in the arms of the mysterious Earl of Deverell. One look at Nate’s handsome face has Aiden reconsidering his future. Not only does Nate make a virile subject for Aiden’s art, but the great war hero awakens feelings in Aiden he has never felt, feelings he can’t ignore.
After a momentous dance at a season ball, Aiden and Nate find themselves exchanging important information and working closely together. They have to fight their growing attraction long enough to find out who stole the weapons and keep themselves from a compromising situation and certain scandal.
